Wind River chimes are boxed in Wind River-branded gift boxes and then placed into a traditional brown shipping box with the shipping label.

If your order is placed by 2pm Eastern Time (Monday-Friday), the order will ship out on the same day. If you select custom engraving, this may add up to 2-3 additional business days to the processing and shipping. Additionally, please note that holidays impact the delivery estimates. When you place your order, you will receive an automated order confirmation email. Once your order is picked up by the shipper, you will receive another email with tracking information.

We ship through FedEx, UPS and occasionally USPS.

Please ensure your chime is hung in a breezy location and not blocked by any structure, tree, or other hindrance. Avoid hanging the chime from a rope or chain. A long hook will reduce the chime's movement. It is best to hang it directly from the O-Ring at the top. If changing locations doesn't improve the sound, consider using a larger wind sail, which you can find on our website.

Salt air does not impact the sound or quality of your wind chimes, but long-term exposure to the air may affect the paint and strings over time.

While our wind chimes are durable and can withstand winter conditions, many customers prefer to bring their chimes indoors for safe keeping during the colder months. If you are unable to bring your chimes indoors but would still like to shield them from the winter elements, we recommend securing a trap over and around your chimes.

We're proud to say we've been manufacturing our hand-tuned wind chimes in the United States for over 30 years. Wind River is located in Manassas Park, Virginia, and the pieces and parts of our wind chimes come from all over the United States. Yes! Wind River chimes make for a great gift for many different occasions. To send items as a gift, simply check the "Send as a gift" check box in your shopping cart. Once you select this box, an option will appear and allow you to type in your gift message. This message will be included in the gift packaging.

We put a packing slip inside the box that has the bill and ship-to information, as well as gift message. No prices are included on the packing list.
