"In July of 2011, my husband, the last person you would expect, without warning took his life. I was devastated, inconsolable. I begged God to let me feel my husband's presence. In the past, when I was faced with a death, I always looked for a rainbow and felt close to that person when I saw one. I begged God, please show me a rainbow...
Rain, sun, no rainbow... I felt the loss deeper.. I questioned why no signs...
One month after my husband's passing, I brought my sons together, the first time since their father's passing. I wanted to give them each a check.
We were all talking in the house... I was overwhelmed with emotion... crying, I went outside on the porch. There was the biggest, brightest, most beautiful rainbow across the entire sky that I have ever seen.
I stood there in awe, thanking God for this moment. As my sons gathered on the porch to witness this, I gave them each a check. It was then I realized that each check I had for years had a Care Bear on it. 4 different Care Bears but all with a rainbow. This was my unforgettable moment.
In September of that year, for our anniversary, I bought a Wind River wind chime. For almost 13 years, it has hung on my porch, and every time it chimes, I thank God I feel close to my husband."

Official Rules For Wind River Chimes “Moments That Matter” Contest
1. Contest Description: Wind River Chimes, Inc., a Virginia corporation with offices at 8431 Euclid Ave, Manassas, Virginia 20111 (Wind River Chimes) will give away one set of the Wind River Chimes Eclipse Collection to the winner of the “Moments That Matter” contest. The Eclipse Collection is comprised of the 78”, 50” and 30” Corinthian Bells wind chimes, and is valued at $1,327.94.
2. To be eligible to win, an individual must submit a valid entry form through the Wind River Chimes 2024 “Moments That Matter” Contest Entry page. No purchase is necessary. On March 28, 2024, the winner will be announced. The Prize shall be the sole benefit for winning the Contest. The Prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed. The winner who accepts the Prize (“Winner”) agrees that Wind River Chimes may use personal information provided by Winner to Wind River Chimes in connection with the Contest, such as their full legal name and home state, for the purpose of advertising Wind River Chimes products and without further compensation. This Contest is offered only to legal residents of the U.S. who have reached the age of eighteen (18) as of the date of submission.
3. Submission Process: The Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. EDT on March 11, 2024, ending on March 25, 2024 at 11:59:59 p.m. EDT. Contest forms are available here. Wind River Chimes or its representatives handling the Contest must receive a completed and valid submission through the online entry process by 11:59:59 p.m. EDT on March 25, 2024. Valid entry forms must contain all requested information and comply with these Official Rules. Only one submission per person. Incomplete entry forms are invalid and ineligible for winning.
4. Winner Selection: Wind River Chimes will select a winner from the pool of valid entry forms by March 28, 2024. No purchase is required. Purchasing Wind River Chimes products will not increase your chances of winning. Selection of a winner is final and binding. Wind River Chimes will notify the winner by the email address included in their entry form within five (5) days of the drawing. Any Prize not accepted by the winner within seven (7) calendar days of sending notice of his or her selection is forfeited. Wind River Chimes shall have no further obligation to the winning contestant and shall not be obligated to select a new winner. The Prize will be delivered to the winner’s mailing address located in the United States within ten (10) days after acceptance. Wind River Chimes shall have no further obligation to the winner. The winner is responsible for payment of any taxes or delivery fees relating to the Prize.
5. Contestant Representations, Warranties, and Release: By submitting the entry form, each contestant represents and warrants that: (a) They have full legal authority to enter the contest and they have complied with these Official Rules; (b) Nothing in the submission violates copyright, privacy, trademark, or other rights of third-parties; (c) They grant Wind River Chimes a royalty-free, paid-up, worldwide, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use items provided to Wind River Chimes for the purposes of advertising Wind River Chimes products, and will sign any additional legal document requested by Wind River Chimes to confirm this grant of rights; and (d) They release Wind River Chimes, its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, representatives, and affiliates, from any claims relating to the Contest.
6. Additional Rules: (a) Wind River Chimes employees, officers, directors, shareholders, and family members of the foregoing are not eligible to win the Contest. (b) Wind River Chimes (its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, representatives, and affiliates) are not responsible for submissions or notices that are lost, damaged, delayed, or misdirected, regardless of the cause (technological or human error). (c) Wind River Chimes reserves the right to cancel or terminate the Contest (or any portion thereof) if it believes there has been misconduct, or if there are technical difficulties that impact the Contest. Wind River Chimes may choose winners from among all eligible entries received prior to the time of such termination. (d) Contestants shall be bound by the determinations of Wind River Chimes, which are final. (e) If Wind River Chimes determines that a submission or a winner is ineligible, the submission may be disregarded, and the Prize shall be forfeited. Wind River Chimes may select a new winner through the process identified in Section 3. (f) Any waiver of these Official Rules by Wind River Chimes must be in writing and posted publicly.
7. Privacy: Any personal information collected by Wind River Chimes in connection with a submission (name, address, telephone number) shall be retained. Wind River Chimes does not represent that it complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and may block submissions from contestants whose personal information may be subject to privacy regulations other than the State of Virginia and the United States of America.
